Here at Vibe, we believe that, to be the best, you have to train with the best! Which is why we only employ the most experienced and dedicated personal trainers in the North West. With areas of expertise ranging from boxing and core strength, to post natal, nutrition and max interval training, our team of trainers have what you need.
I have over 20 years experience in the fitness industry and have worked all over the North West as a personal trainer, studio instructor, sports coach, lecturer and leisure club manager. I ran my own personal training business for 7 years before becoming the Director of Vibe. My specialist training areas are diet and nutrition, weight management, outdoor training, sport specific training and advanced strength training. My clients include Gemma Atkinson. I regularly take part in mountain bike marathons, road bike challenges, and triathlons.
I have been working in the fitness industry for 12 years since completing my Diploma in Sport. I also have qualifications in Sports Massage and Nutrition & Weight Management. I specialise in group exercise instruction and Bootcamps. My training strengths include functional core training and muscle building as well as unique studio circuits, Metabolic and Bodyweight training (including Insanity), Boxfit and Spin classes. I am also qualified in TRX and ViPR training and love a good Mud Challenge.
After training at the highest level for over 20 years I became a qualified personal trainer and have worked in the fitness industry for over 3 years now. I am currently qualified to Level 3 YMCA personal training , including gym instruction, exercise nutrition and spin. I regularly compete in 10k runs, half marathons and triathlons. My specialist areas are resistance and toning through Metabolic Training, Bodyweight Training, spin and circuits.
I am a Level 2 ABAE qualified boxing coach and tutor with 6 years experience in amateur boxing. I have worked on fitness, strength and conditioning with individuals and groups in a variety of combat sports. I also have experience of training amateur football and rugby teams. I have also ran specialised fitness development camps for children and adults, and corporate team building training sessions. At Vibe I specialise in boxing classes, boot camps and 1 to 1 boxing coaching. I like to develop the techniques of those involved in all my training, rather than just focusing on making them sweat.
Stephen has been working in the leisure industry for over 12 years and has done it all; from coaching to delivering classes, lifeguarding and facility management. In 2008 he graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in physics and sports science. He followed this in 2012 with a masters degree in Sports Therapy from UCLAN in Preston. He has provided therapy at the Great North Run, the gruelling Brathay 10 in10 (10 marathons in 10 days around Windermere), worked with professional footballers at Preston North End and has coached people worldwide as a fitness co-ordinator with the Holland America cruise line. Trained in soft tissue massage, transverse friction, joint mobilisation, trigger point therapy and exercise rehabilitation, whatever the injury or concern I am here to help.
I have 6 years experience in the fitness industry, working as a personal trainer. I hold a Level 3 Advanced Personal Training & Pilates qualification. I am also qualified in Nutrition & Weight Management and GP Referral. I specialise in fat loss, toning, core training and functional work. I run the Vibe run clubs and regularly take part in 10k races and half marathons.
I have practiced yoga now for over 10 years and offer 1 to 1 Yoga and Group Yoga training. I started to deepen my interest around 2009 after a stay at an Ayurveda retreat in India. I achieved the British Wheel Foundation course in 2012, developing a daily home practice, completing Foundation level 2 in 2013. I have since completed a Yoga Alliance accredited 200 hour teacher training course with Yoga Campus and specialist restorative yoga training with world renowned Judith Lasater. The yoga I deliver considers the needs and limitations of the individual, using yoga asana focusing on postural alignment and mobilisation supported by breathing techniques to build strength and flexibility.
I am an ex gymnast, fitness has been my life from being 6 years old. I am a Level 3 qualified personal trainer and have worked in the industry for 11 years. I specialise in weight loss, toning, functional training, bodybuilding and health related exercise for children. I regularly take part in events such as Tough Mudder and 10k running events.
